Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Webcke! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Webcke closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Sopranos pushes Webcke off looking to stand but Webcke dives back in and keeps control.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sopranos with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sopranos is looking to work some ground and pound but Webcke has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sopranos wants to stand and escape but instead Webcke has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Webcke stands up over Sopranos, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Webcke throwing strikes from guard but Sopranos blocks nicely. Webcke throws a strike but Sopranos rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sopranos in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Webcke working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sopranos. Webcke manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Webcke is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sopranos can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Webcke thowing shots but they're missing. Webcke throws a wild left hand from mount and Sopranos manages to wriggle his way back to half guard. Webcke throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Webcke slips a nice elbow through Sopranos's hands, connecting with Sopranos's forehead. Webcke thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shane Webcke dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Webcke bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sopranos's head. Webcke thuds his right hand into Sopranos's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Webcke darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Anthony Sopranos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sopranos misses with the combination.
Webcke lands with a straight right. Sopranos didn't see that one coming. Sopranos takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Sopranos in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sopranos is bucking up trying to escape but Webcke cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Webcke punishing his opponent with strikes. Webcke throws some wild stikes that Sopranos manages to avoid easily.

Shane Webcke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

A nice elbow there by Webcke. Webcke has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Poor strikes thrown by Webcke there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Webcke lands a big shot there that rocks Sopranos but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

And that's the end of the fight! Shane Webcke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Webcke has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
