Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Liriano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and B Schnitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Nelson Liriano!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, B Schnitz!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schnitz fails to land the takedown.
Schnitz fails with a takedown attempt.
Schnitz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Liriano leaves Schnitz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nelson Liriano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of B Schnitz.
Schnitz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Schnitz shoots for a double leg takedown but Liriano sprawls well. He's pushed Schnitz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Liriano tries to clinch but Schnitz is having none of it.
Liriano catches Schnitz with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Schnitz dives in and grabs Liriano's left leg, looking for a takedown. Liriano pushes down on Schnitz's head and hops out.
Liriano throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Schnitz looks gassed!
Liriano scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Schnitz doesn't seem bothered though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Liriano throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Schnitz stumbling backwards into the cage! Schnitz bounces back off the cage towards Liriano, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Liriano lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Liriano celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Nelson Liriano!
Nelson Liriano retains his lightweight title!
