Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dewayne Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I against I-Jedi mind tricks. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dewayne Severn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jesse Silva! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and .
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Severn misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Silva closes the distance and pushes Severn back into the cage. Silva gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Dewayne Severn has been cut. Silva prevents the takedown attempt.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dewayne Severn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Severn is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Silva landing knees to the body.
Severn is breathing heavily.
Silva pulls guard effortlessly. Severn won't allow Silva to sweep him here. Silva looking to control.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Severn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Severn stopping the sweep attempt from Silva.
Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Silva looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is trying to keep Severn in close.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Silva clinches up with Severn and pushes him back against the cage. Silva landing knees to the body.
Severn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Silva successfully pulls guard.
Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Severn is controlling him.
Silva pushes Severn off and scrambles back to his feet.
Severn could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Silva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Severn, pushing him back against the cage. Severn tries to score a body lock takedown but Silva shows good agility there to stay on his feet. The referee calls for Silva to work.
Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva lands a front kick. This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva closes the distance and pushes Severn back into the cage. Silva lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Silva lands with a right to the head.
Silva breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dewayne Severn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva drives through and clinches with Severn against the cage.
Severn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Silva works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Severn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silva looking to pass the guard. Silva is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work. Silva working away. Severn tries to buck Silva off but Silva is having none of it. Silva trying to control the action but Severn is working from the bottom.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silva instigates a clinch.
Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Severn circles away.
Severn feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, Severn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
 The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Severn drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Severn off! Severn jumps back into Silva's guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Severn has passed into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Severn tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. You can see the frustration on Silva's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Silva is trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Silva dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dewayne Severn's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Severn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Severn fails with the takedown
and Silva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Severn won't be happy with that. Silva wants to control but Severn is keeping him busy. Severn is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Silva asserts his dominance and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva is looking to take a break and control but Severn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Severn tries to improve position but can't. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Silva working away.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Silva lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Severn backs up against the cage.
Severn misses with a takedown and Silva counters with a low kick, right behind Severn 's knee. Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Silva clinches up against the cage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva jumps into guard, dragging Severn to the mat.
Severn wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Severn is really struggling to control Silva but he's trying to hold on to the position. Severn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Silva wants to stand but Severn is controlling the position. Severn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard. Silva keeping moving, preventing Severn from controlling successfully.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Silva wants to control but Severn is keeping him busy.
Severn has one foot on Silva's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Severn shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Silva counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dewayne Severn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Severn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard. Silva lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Severn! Severn avoids a series of strikes thrown by Silva.
Silva looking to control but Severn is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Severn holds on, trying desperately to control. Severn is wriggling around trying to escape.

Jesse Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dewayne Severn's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Severn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Severn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Silva wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Severn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Severn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Severn trying to control the position but Silva is working away. Silva is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Severn staying calm.
Severn tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Silva is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva is not content to let Severn control the position. Severn controlling the position from side mount.
Severn wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Silva, who protects the arm well.
And that's the end of the fight! Dewayne Severn showed his dominance in that final round. I think Silva has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
