Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Porter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jamal Porter is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porter dives in and grabs Little's left leg, looking for a takedown. Little pushes down on Porter's head and hops out.
Little misses with a kick to the body.
Porter keeps the fight on the outside.
Porter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Little.
Porter shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Little manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Porter wants to pass the guard but Little is keeping the position.
Porter is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Porter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Little is trying to keep Porter in close.

Porter seems to be working for a kimura but Little defends the submission attempt.
Porter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Little is just riding it out for now. Porter eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

You can see the frustration on Little's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Porter goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Little rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Porter's guard! Nice work there by Little!

Porter goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Little is on top in guard.
Little tries to free his leg and advance position but Porter is retaining full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Porter shoots in for a takedown but Little shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Porter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Porter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Little sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Porter somewhat.
Alex Little has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamal Porter.

Little escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Alex Little seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Porter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Little.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Porter drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Porter as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Little screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Porter! Nice submission victory there!
