Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DK Oakston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sal Blare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oakston comes to the cage accompanied by Beastie Boys - High Plains Drifter. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, DK Oakston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sal Blare!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oakston throws a right hand that Blare ducks under and follows up with a left that Blare also avoids with ease.
Blare stuffs the takedown.
Oakston showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Blare.

Blare throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Oakston was covering up waiting for the punch and Blare finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Oakston might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Oakston wants to stand and escape but Blare is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blare is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Oakston counters with a three punch combo that has Blare backing up. Blare nods at Oakston to acknowledge the strikes.

Blare has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Oakston is proving hard to escape from.

Blare wants to free his trapped foot but Oakston is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Oakston jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Blare is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Blare and Oakston has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Oakston tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Oakston has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Oakston cracks Blare with a big right hand but Blare just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Blare is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oakston accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Blare is trying to control the position from the bottom.

DK Oakston showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Oakston has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
