The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faraj shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mitchell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Faraj throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mitchell throws a body punch but Faraj moves out of range.
A jab from Mitchell misses.
Mitchell thows a body shot but no joy.
Faraj slips under a jab.
Faraj tries for a takedown but Mitchell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mitchell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Faraj as he avoids it easily.
Faraj misses with a takedown attempt - Mitchell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khaleeq Faraj. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mitchell throws a jab when Faraj was well out of range.

Faraj misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mitchell leaves Faraj with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mitchell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Faraj circles away quickly and effectively.
Faraj takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Faraj shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mitchell pinned against the cage. Mitchell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Faraj is breathing heavily.
Mitchell misses with a two punch combination.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Mitchell! Faraj is backing up but he can't get away as Mitchell lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Faraj and ends the fight. Great knockout.
