Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, GEORGES STPIERRE! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Crusher Jackson! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for STPIERRE with that takedown attempt. Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but STPIERRE circles away quickly and effectively. STPIERRE delivers a nice body kick. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jackson!
It looks like GEORGES STPIERRE has been cut. STPIERRE swats away the attempt to clinch by Jackson. Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jackson misses the jab. Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - STPIERRE circles away.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but STPIERRE circles away quickly and effectively. STPIERRE dodges the punch combination from Jackson.
Jackson keeps the fight on the outside. STPIERRE connects with a high kick. STPIERRE throws a front kick that sends Jackson stumbling back into the cage. Jackson looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson closes the distance but STPIERRE moves to the side and STPIERRE counters with a single leg into guard. Jackson didn't expect that. STPIERRE looking to pass the guard. STPIERRE controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jackson can do anything to dispel that myth. STPIERRE trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. STPIERRE shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for GEORGES STPIERRE. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson looks to clinch so STPIERRE counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jackson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jackson is looking to stand up but STPIERRE isn't so interested in that idea. Jackson trying to control the position here. Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but STPIERRE moves out of range and avoids them all easily. STPIERRE closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. STPIERRE jumps into guard, dragging Jackson to the mat.

GEORGES STPIERRE overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. STPIERRE is trying to control. Jackson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with STPIERRE in particular looking to stall. Jackson wants to control but STPIERRE passes into side.

STPIERRE sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jackson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Crusher Jackson. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
