The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kraus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Antonio Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva tries to clinch but Kraus is having none of it.
Silva leaves Kraus with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kraus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

A big strike lands for Kraus! That's really hurt Silva and he's turned his back - Kraus keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kraus jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
