Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takanori Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Pandora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pandora is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Layla. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Arthur Pandora was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pandora bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Pandora pushes Gomi up against the ropes in a clinch.
Pandora creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gomi's defenses.
Pandora scores with a knee to the head.
Gomi wants to break free but Pandora has control.
Pandora lands a knee to the body.

Pandora pulls guard successfully.
Pandora looking for a sweep. Not yet Pandora, not yet.
Pandora seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Gomi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gomi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pandora looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Gomi has picked Pandora up and slammed him! Pandora can't keep hold of the triangle and Gomi manages to pass to side control!

Gomi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pandora, who protects the arm well.
Pandora is trying to get back to half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pandora is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Pandora manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Pandora passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gomi!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Pandora swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Gomi is now in Pandora's guard. A big mistake from Pandora there, giving up the dominant position!
Pandora looks gassed!

Gomi drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Gomi seems to have locked his on tight now - Pandora screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Gomi, as he picks up the win!
