Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carlitos Bootski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toto Bantoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlitos Bootski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Toto Bantoto!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Bantoto. Bootski does a little dance to reset his feet.
Carlitos Bootski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bootski tries to close the distance and clinch but Bantoto swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bantoto lands with a nice body punch.
Bootski is breathing heavily.
Bootski tries to clinch up but Bantoto circles away and keeps his distance.
Bantoto fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bootski avoids it really well and circles away.
Bootski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bootski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bantoto gets to his feet. Bootski looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Bootski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bantoto has Bootski up against the cage in a clinch.

Bantoto pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bantoto takes the fight into the clinch.
Bantoto blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Carlitos Bootski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toto Bantoto.
Bantoto tries to stall but Bootski uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Bantoto tries to score a body lock takedown but Bootski shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Bantoto blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Bootski swings wildly with an uppercut but Bantoto uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bantoto is trying to drag Bootski to the mat but Bootski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Bantoto is trying to maintain a safe position but Bootski gets an underhook and turns Bantoto into the cage.

Bantoto has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bootski avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Bantoto manages to break the clinch.

Bantoto throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bootski was covering up waiting for the punch and Bantoto finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bootski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bantoto is controlling him.
Bantoto not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

I looks like Bantoto might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Bantoto lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Bootski is wriggling around but Bantoto manages to pass to half guard.
Bootski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bantoto on the ground.

Bantoto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Toto Bantoto.
Bootski closes the distance but Bantoto moves to the side

so Bantoto counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bantoto stands up over Bootski, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Bantoto content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Bootski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Bootski is working an open guard so Bantoto takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Bantoto has managed to clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bantoto tries to score a body lock takedown but Bootski shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bantoto is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Bantoto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bantoto is looking to control Bootski's arms but Bootski gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bantoto has his back to the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Toto Bantoto dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Bantoto connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Bantoto closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bantoto decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Bantoto looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bantoto seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Bantoto decides to return to a standing position.

Bootski moves into the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bantoto is trying to drag Bootski to the mat but Bootski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bootski working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Bootski is pressed up against the cage. Bantoto has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bootski down to the mat. Bootski avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Bantoto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bantoto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bootski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bantoto somewhat.

Bantoto slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bantoto is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Bootski is trying to escape and Bantoto transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Bootski is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bantoto! Very nice indeed!
