PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kung Lao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lao's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rock Superstar by Cypress Hill. Silva comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Thunderstruck by AC/DC kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Kung Lao has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kung Lao seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Silva throws a leg kick but Lao sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Silva is looking to chop away at Lao's legs.
Silva avoids the head kick by Lao.
Lao takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Silva scores with a push kick.
Lao lands a lovely overhand right.
Silva moves out of range of the body kick from Lao.
Silva throws a lazy head kick
and Lao makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Silva looks to land a combination but Lao avoids it well.
Silva lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Silva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lao throws a sloppy head kick
and Silva counters with a good low kick that Lao was not able to check.
Lao is breathing heavily.

Silva takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A head kick from Silva lands but Lao takes it in his stride.
Lao avoids the head kick by Silva.

Lao throws a solid leg kick but Silva takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lao.
Silva tries to bum rush Lao with a series of wild strikes but Lao uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lao throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.

and Silva finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Silva feints a jab and as Lao dips his head, Silva unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Lao right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Lao falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Silva smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
