PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philip Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gay Al (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Philip Gray has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Philip Gray seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gay Al!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Al as he avoids it easily.

Al closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gray pushes Al off looking to stand but Al dives back in and keeps control.
Gray is pressing down on Al's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Al keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gray's head.
Al pushes down on Gray's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Al seems to be working for a kimura but Gray defends the submission attempt.

Gray is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Al pulls his head out easily.
Gray is trying to maintain the position but Al is very close to passing his half guard.
Gray looks like he's trying to stand up.
Al blocks the strikes from Gray.

Gray has a hand on Al's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Al takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Al frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Gray closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Al to the mat! Al manages to get full guard.

Al throws his legs up looking for a submission but Gray uses it to pass to side control.
