Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Matt Dillion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archie Partridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Dillion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Archie Partridge! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Partridge tries to clinch but Dillion moves out of range. Dillion closes the distance and lands a one-two. Partridge throws a combination that misses and Dillion counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Partridge is not content to let Dillion control the position. Dillion is looking to stall here but Partridge recovers full guard. Partridge tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dillion throws a big right hand that misses. Partridge keeping moving, preventing Dillion from controlling successfully. Dillion really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dillion is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Partridge is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Partridge is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Dillion wants to control from the top but Partridge keeps moving.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dillion circles away from the clinch attempt so Dillion counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Dillion throwing strikes but missing. Dillion seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Partridge utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dillion trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Partridge trying to keep a closed guard but Dillion is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Partridge controlling the position. Partridge keeping moving, preventing Dillion from controlling successfully.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A right-left combo lands from Partridge. Partridge keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Partridge throws a head kick but Dillion moves out of range.
Archie Partridge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Partridge looks gassed! Partridge tries to clinch but Dillion is having none of it. Dillion shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Partridge not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Dillion is looking to control Partridge's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dillion avoid being mounted? Dillion trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dillion is trying to escape the mount.

Dillion is working hard here to advance position. Dillion is squirming around, avoiding Partridge's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Partridge controlling from mount. Dillion is desperately trying to improve his position but Partridge has a good base and remains in mount. Partridge avoids the attempt from Dillion to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dillion is trying desperately to improve position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Archie Partridge will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Partridge takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Partridge closes the distance but Dillion moves to the side and Dillion counters with a nice double leg into side control. Partridge won't be happy with that. Dillion stands up and we're back to a striking position. Partridge darts in trying to clinch and Dillion counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dillion. Dillion pulls guard. Dillion has his feet on Partridge's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Dillion shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Dillion is keen to just control but Partridge is a slippery customer. Partridge takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Dillion scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Partridge doesn't seem bothered though. Dillion wants to clinch but Partridge slips to the side and Partridge counters with a two punch combo. Dillion shoots in for a double leg but Partridge sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dillion connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Partridge momentarily.

Dillion changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Partridge looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dillion has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Dillion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Partridge sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Dillion tries for a takedown but Partridge circles away easily and Partridge moves into the clinch.

Dillion is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Partridge tries a knee to the head but Dillion blocks it.
Dillion tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Partridge just stands there and leans against the cage. Dillion gets control of Partridge's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dillion will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Partridge won't allow Dillion to sweep him here. Dillion pushes Partridge off and scrambles back to his feet.
Dillion wants to clinch but Partridge slips to the side and Partridge counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Dillion fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Partridge got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dillion has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Partridge has managed to get both his arms back between Dillion's legs - danger averted.
