Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Shaq Diesel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Prolly Rain!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diesel scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Diesel throws an elbow but Rain slips to the side and avoids it well.
Rain taking a bit of punishment here - Diesel scoring with strikes.
Rain dodges the ground and pound from Diesel.
Diesel working the strikes but Rain uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

Rain looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Diesel thows a huge punch but Rain dodges it nicely.

Diesel is working for a submission of some sort.

Rain is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Diesel pulls his head out easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Diesel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rain leaves Diesel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Diesel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rain sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Diesel throws and elbow that misses. Rain uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Diesel's guard. Nice move by Rain!
Rain cracks Diesel with a solid left hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rain keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Diesel's head.

Diesel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rain lands a couple of elbows.
Diesel looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Diesel feints and as Rain raises his hands in defense, Diesel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Diesel with a flurry of punches that miss.

Rain looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Diesel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Diesel passes Rain's left leg - he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Diesel with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Diesel is working Rain over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Rain is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diesel works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diesel missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Diesel not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Diesel throws a strike but Rain avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Rain is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Diesel defends well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Diesel stands up over Rain, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Diesel landing with the ground and pound.
Rain keeping full guard, as Diesel tries to pass.

Rain looking for a guillotine here but Diesel defends easily.

Diesel slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Diesel tries to score with some ground and pound. Rain controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Diesel works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Shaq Diesel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rain tries to bench press Diesel off him but Diesel keeps the position.
Rain regains half guard.
Diesel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rain with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Diesel throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Diesel wants to pass the guard but Rain is defending well.
Nice strikes from Diesel there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rain blocking the ground and pound attempt from Diesel.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shaq Diesel dominated that second round.
That's time! Diesel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Diesel wants to clinch up but Rain keeps it at a distance.
Rain doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Diesel counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Diesel.

Rain is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Diesel is aware though and is defending well.
Diesel tries to free his leg and advance position but Rain is retaining full guard.

Rain has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Diesel should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rain has tightened it up now! Diesel should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
