PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Khero LoneWolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LoneWolf comes to the cage accompanied by Hero. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Khero LoneWolf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Kane! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane is trying hard to land a takedown here. LoneWolf sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kane shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. LoneWolf is squirming around, avoiding Kane's attempts to control the action. Kane with the ground and pound from mount. Kane tries to control but LoneWolf wriggling away. LoneWolf wants to hold on but Kane pushes him away. LoneWolf gets back to half guard. LoneWolf keeping control of the position. LoneWolf is trying to stand back up but Kane is controlling him
LoneWolf tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Kane has advanced to mount. Uh oh. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. LoneWolf tries to buck Kane off but Kane takes his back! Kane misses with an elbow to the head. LoneWolf staying busy and making it hard for Kane to control. LoneWolf tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! LoneWolf is desperately trying to improve his position but Kane has a good base and remains in mount. Kane trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kane working for a submission but LoneWolf is keeping him at bay. Kane is going oldschool here, as he tries to force LoneWolf to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so LoneWolf shrugs it off. Kane scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kane controlling his opponent. Kane throws some wild stikes that LoneWolf manages to avoid easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
LoneWolf has left one of his arms exposed and Kane doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. LoneWolf screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). David Kane!
