Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Bruin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mawashi Giru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Bruin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mawashi Giru!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giru fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Giru throws a nice looking combination but Bruin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No joy there for Giru, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bruin manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Giru wants to break the clinch but can't.

It looks like Mawashi Giru has been cut.

Bruin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Giru throws a wild body kick that Bruin sees coming a mile off.

Bruin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Giru doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Bruin pulls guard successfully.
Giru landing with the ground and pound.

Bruin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Giru defends well.
Bruin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Giru on the ground.
Giru working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bruin's head.
Giru has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
