Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jones lands a jab.

Young looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Young drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Young jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jones seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Young is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jones is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jones has escaped and now he's on top!
Young wants to control but Jones passes easily into half guard.

Young is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jones is just content to waste time from the top position. Young takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Jones throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Young is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Young is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Young is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A right-left combo lands from Jones.
Jones throws a combination. Young tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Young looks gassed!
Jones connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Young! He's out on his feet! Jones rushes in and drops Young with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
