Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anatoliy Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo De Sousa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anatoliy Roy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ronaldo De Sousa! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roy looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Roy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from De Sousa. Roy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows De Sousa to score an easy takedown into full guard. Roy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. De Sousa thows a big elbow that misses. De Sousa trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. De Sousa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Roy is keeping the position for now. De Sousa throwing strikes but missing. De Sousa trying to control the position from guard on top but Roy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Sousa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. De Sousa wants to control from the top but Roy keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. De Sousa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Roy slaps away a takedown attempt from De Sousa, before circling back to the center of the mat. Anatoliy Roy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronaldo De Sousa. Roy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from De Sousa. Ronaldo De Sousa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. De Sousa tries for a takedown but Roy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. De Sousa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and De Sousa wants it to stay on the feet. De Sousa throws a nice inside leg kick. Roy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but De Sousa paws at him with a jab and circles away. De Sousa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Roy counters into the clinch. Nicely done. De Sousa blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Roy is trying to drag De Sousa to the mat but De Sousa just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Roy's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Sousa goes for a takedown in the clinch but Roy prevents it.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Roy. A head punch on the inside from Roy fails to land. De Sousa tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Roy smiles and moves away.
Roy gets in close and instigates a clinch. De Sousa has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Roy uses from the top position. De Sousa working for a triangle but Roy defends it easily.
De Sousa looks gassed! De Sousa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Roy defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roy looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronaldo De Sousa dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
De Sousa misses with a takedown and Roy moves into the clinch. Roy drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Roy turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Sousa tries to get back to half guard but can't. De Sousa tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Roy presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! De Sousa is looking to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roy blocks De Sousa's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. De Sousa is breathing heavily. De Sousa tries to improve his position but instead Roy has taken his back! Roy has good solid back control here. De Sousa turns into Roy and is now in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. De Sousa is fighting to break Roy's control of his arms but Roy is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Roy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. De Sousa drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Roy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now De Sousa has Roy in his guard. De Sousa is looking for a triangle here but Roy uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The referee asks Roy politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Roy prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Sousa is looking to regain half guard here but Roy keeps moving and retains side control. Roy controlling the position from side mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Roy tries to advance to mount but can't. Roy wants to control but De Sousa is keeping him busy. Roy decides to stand back up. Roy steps back and let's De Sousa get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. De Sousa fails with the takedown and Roy counters by moving into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anatoliy Roy dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Roy is looking to clinch but De Sousa is avoiding it.
De Sousa throws a shot to the body.
De Sousa with a lazy takedown attempt and Roy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Roy makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Roy breaks the clinch.
De Sousa has his takedown stuffed and Roy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in De Sousa's guard now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. De Sousa doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Sousa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Roy defends well. Roy passes De Sousa's left leg - he's now in half guard. De Sousa actively working from the bottom here. Roy decides to stand up. Ronaldo De Sousa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Roy moves into the clinch successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Sousa changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Roy fights it off and pushes away nicely.

De Sousa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Roy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

De Sousa jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Roy is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Roy and De Sousa has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
