Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Geter Done! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Morote Gari! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gari misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Done looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Gari misses with a head kick.
Done tries to clinch but Gari is having none of it. Gari is looking to slow Done down with leg kicks. Gari gets a takedown into half guard. Done tries to get to full guard but Gari has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gari is keen to just control but Done is a slippery customer. Gari looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Done is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gari pulls his head out easily. Gari is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Done is just riding it out for now. Gari eventually gives up the hold. Gari is working for a kimura but Done is defending it quite comfortably.

Gari lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Gari is looking to clinch but Done is avoiding it.
Gari rushes Done and presses him up against the cage. Gari is trying to trip Done. He has hold of a leg but Done is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gari persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Done can't keep his opponent in guard - Gari advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Gari seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Done is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
