Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilder lands a slapping body shot.
Do tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wilder paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Do dives in and grabs Wilder's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wilder pushes down on Do's head and hops out.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wilder darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Michael Do has been cut.
Do moves forwards but Wilder connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Do closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wilder circles away.
Wilder scores with a one two! Do had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Do is rocked!
A solid leg kick lands there for Wilder.
Do is still on wobbly legs! Can Wilder finish him?
Do looks gassed!
Do loses concentration momentarily and Wilder pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Do crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Wilder finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Van Wilder!
