The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunma moves out of range of the leg kick from Ransom.
Gunma feints and as Ransom raises his hands in defense, Gunma changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ransom is trying to control the position but Gunma postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gunma missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Ransom shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gunma counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ransom thinking.
Ransom shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gunma but Gunma pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ransom tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gunma paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ransom takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
