Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Silvers!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvers doesn't manage to clinch there - Petiwa circles away.
Silvers gets caught flat footed, as Petiwa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Silvers trying to control the position.
Petiwa throwing strikes from guard but Silvers blocks nicely.
Petiwa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Petiwa tries to stand but Silvers is controlling from the bottom.
Petiwa drops back, looking for a kneebar! Silvers looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Silvers looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Silvers!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silvers advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silvers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Petiwa is looking to escape.
Silvers tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Silvers trying to control but Petiwa is having none of it.
Petiwa is trying to reverse the position but instead Silvers has taken his back - oops!
Well, with Silvers on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Petiwa is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Petiwa rolls, trying to escape but Silvers keeps control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Silvers is cranking Petiwa's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Petiwa! He's tightened the choke and Petiwa is tapping out!
