Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Triton Rex Vergara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres comes to the cage accompanied by It's My Time-Fabulous. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Torres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Triton Rex Vergara! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres lands a high kick!
Torres gets a takedown into half guard. Torres is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Vergara reverses the position - he's now on top in Torres's guard. Vergara would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Torres looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vergara is one step ahead there. Vergara must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vergara can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torres had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vergara defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torres is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Vergara really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Torres. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Torres lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Vergara! Torres sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torres looking to control but Vergara is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Torres is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Vergara can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Torres looking to secure an arm triangle but Vergara defends it well. Torres sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Torres trying to control but Vergara is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felipe Torres dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Torres stalks Vergara and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vergara's face. Vergara staggers backwards, shaken. Vergara falls off balance throwing a combination
and Torres counters with a right hand to the body. Vergara walks into a straight right hand from Torres. A good leg kick by Torres. Torres throws a head kick but Vergara moves out of range.
Vergara swings away with a body shot that misses
and Torres counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Torres misses with a few strikes there.
A shot to the body from Vergara misses and Torres counters with a shoot takedown. Vergara fights it but they end up in guard. Vergara preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Torres not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torres wants to control from the top but Vergara keeps moving. Torres drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Torres jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Torres slips nicely into half guard. Torres keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Torres is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vergara doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Torres. Torres wants to take a breather but Vergara is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torres trying to control the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Felipe Torres. Vergara misses with a wild combination.
Torres really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Vergara takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Torres shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vergara is trying to defend but Torres finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Torres is looking for a kimura here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Torres maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Vergara could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Torres has cracked it and Vergara is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Torres!
