Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cirino Privitera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron Davidson! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Anthony Taglia and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Privitera tries to clinch up. Davidson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Davidson leaves Privitera with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A slapping leg kick lands for Davidson.
Privitera throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davidson's waist but Davidson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Privitera off to one side. Privitera looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cirino Privitera. That's going to take a lot out of him. That's better than Privitera was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Privitera misses with a series of strikes from mount. Davidson tries to reverse the position but Privitera maintains control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davidson wants to hold on but Privitera pushes him away. Privitera throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Davidson has his hands clasped together but Privitera breaks the hold and Davidson is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Privitera!
