Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Lotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Sherk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lotus comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Tommy Lotus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Sherk!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lotus stalks Sherk and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sherk's face. Sherk staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Bryan Sherk has been cut.
Lotus lands with a nice combination. Sherk backs away looking to recover.
The fighters circling - Lotus throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lotus connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Sherk tumbling to the canvas! Lotus pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Sherk was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tommy Lotus!
