Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Piston Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanley Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez has chosen Take it in Blood -- Nas as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Honda scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Honda tries to bench press Ramirez off him but Ramirez keeps the position.
Honda is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ramirez asserts his dominance and retains side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Honda throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ramirez on the side of the head.
Honda lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Honda is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ramirez.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Honda engages and cracks Ramirez with a massive lead left hook - Ramirez tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Honda is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
