Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lebron James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Becker kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pudzian Band - Dawaj na ring. Lebron James will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lebron James! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Becker is fending him off so far but James persists. Nope, Becker circles away and we're back to standing. James closes the distance and clinches up with Becker, looking for a takedown. James pushes Becker against the cage but Becker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. James shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Becker sprawls well. Becker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. James gets slowly back to his feet. Gary Becker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lebron James. James moves in looking to clinch but Becker pushes him off. James tries to score a power double leg takedown but Becker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten James somewhat. James tries to clinch up but Becker circles away and keeps his distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Becker shoots in for a takedown but James shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Becker. James with a lazy takedown attempt so Becker counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. James being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Becker throwing strikes from guard but James blocks nicely. Becker distracts James with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Becker landing with the ground and pound. Becker wants to control from the top but James keeps moving. James looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Becker lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. James trying to keep a closed guard but Becker is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Becker trying to control but James is working from the bottom. Becker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Becker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Becker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. James preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. James keeping moving, preventing Becker from controlling successfully. Becker working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of James's head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Becker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Becker tries to clinch but James moves away and James counters with a nice double leg into guard.

James doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. James manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Becker has his foot on James's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. James works his way back into a safe position though. Becker is breathing heavily. Becker keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully. Becker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. James defends it easily. Becker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and James defends well. James postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

James must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. James trying to control but Becker is working from the bottom. Becker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Becker keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully. Becker has his foot on James's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. James works his way back into a safe position though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Becker working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from James. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Becker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. James gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Becker tries to grapple but his opponent circles and James counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. James clinches. James fails to pull guard.

Becker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lebron James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. James tries for a takedown but Becker circles away easily and Becker counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for James!

Becker can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as James is looking to escape. Becker landing punches. Gary Becker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Becker cracks James with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
James is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Becker is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. James is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. James flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Becker anticipates the leg and manages to get behind James and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Becker slips an arm under James chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Becker has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Becker is squeezing on James like an anaconda would it's prey. James fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
