Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Surachad Leuangcharoen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Moe E Thai! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leuangcharoen tries to bum rush Thai with a series of wild strikes but Thai uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Thai throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A head kick misses from Thai. Leuangcharoen looks to score with a jab to the body but Thai is just out of range. Thai is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Leuangcharoen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Leuangcharoen avoids the elbow strike from Thai, against the cage.
Thai misses with a knee strike.
Leuangcharoen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Thai would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Leuangcharoen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thai preventing the sweep.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Well, if Leuangcharoen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Surachad Leuangcharoen dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Thai closes the distance but Leuangcharoen moves to the side and Leuangcharoen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Thai's guard now. Leuangcharoen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Leuangcharoen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Leuangcharoen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Surachad Leuangcharoen. Leuangcharoen instigates a clinch. Leuangcharoen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Thai wants to clinch and Leuangcharoen counters with a single leg into guard. Thai didn't expect that.

Thai working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Leuangcharoen. Leuangcharoen gets to his feet. Thai looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Leuangcharoen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Leuangcharoen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thai tries to kick Leuangcharoen off but Leuangcharoen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Leuangcharoen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Leuangcharoen wants to pass the guard but Thai is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leuangcharoen is working hard here to advance position. Leuangcharoen stands up and beckons Thai to join him on the feet. A combination from Thai does no damage. Leuangcharoen has managed to clinch.

Leuangcharoen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. A lull in the action here. Thai is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Leuangcharoen asserts his dominance and retains side control. Leuangcharoen is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Thai's shoulder. That is not cool. Surachad Leuangcharoen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thai tries to escape but Leuangcharoen is in control. Leuangcharoen decides to take the fight back to the feet. Thai misses with a body shot.
Leuangcharoen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thai. Thai keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Leuangcharoen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Leuangcharoen sitting and controlling from the half guard. Leuangcharoen is trying to work for a kimura but Thai is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leuangcharoen is taking a breather. Thai says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Leuangcharoen is pressing down on Thai's thigh, looking to free his foot. Thai is holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Thai avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Leuangcharoen. Leuangcharoen is taking a breather. Thai says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Leuangcharoen thows a huge punch but Thai dodges it nicely.
Moe E Thai has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Surachad Leuangcharoen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Leuangcharoen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
And that's the end of the fight! Surachad Leuangcharoen showed his dominance in that final round. Well Leuangcharoen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
