Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aerick Flayre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aerick Flayre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robbie Rock! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flayre doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Flayre tries a head kick but it misses.
Flayre throws a push kick but Rock slaps the foot to one side. Flayre tries a head kick but it misses.
Rock shoots in and bounces Flayre off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Rock trying to control but Flayre is working from the bottom. Rock missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rock must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rock throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Flayre works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rock drops back, looking for a kneebar! Flayre looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Flayre looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Flayre! Rock trying to control but Flayre flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Rock tries to roll but Flayre sticks to his back.
Flayre biding his time, controlling Rock. Flayre gets his hands free as Rock looks to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Flayre just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Rock trying to control the hands but Flayre won't let him. You can see the frustration on Rock's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Flayre controlling the position well here. Rock rolled but Flayre kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flayre's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Rock just trying to survive but Flayre is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Flayre controlling the position well here. Rock rolled but Flayre kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rock is trying to break free.

Robbie Rock dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rock uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Flayre.

It looks like Aerick Flayre has been cut. Rock throws a right hand that Flayre ducks under and follows up with a left that Flayre also avoids with ease. Flayre tries a head kick but it misses.
Rock fails with a takedown attempt. Rock wants to clinch up but Flayre keeps it at a distance. Flayre misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Flayre lands a big head kick that sends Rock tumbling to the mat! Flayre takes a step backwards and waves Rock back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Robbie Rock has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rock works over Flayre's head and body with a nice combination. Rock moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Rock shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Flayre's guard. Rock wants to stand but Flayre has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Rock wants to control from the top but Flayre keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rock's corner is telling him to maintain position. Flayre wants to sweep here but Rock controlling him for the moment. Rock postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rock wants to stand and escape but instead Flayre has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Flayre controlling from the top position. Flayre avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Flayre is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Rock trying to control the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rock can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rock tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rock wants to stand and escape but Flayre is having none of it. Flayre is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Flayre won't allow Rock to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Flayre is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Rock is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Flayre works a leg free and moves into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rock is looking for a sweep. Flayre is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Robbie Rock will probably get the nod - 10:9. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Flayre has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Flayre tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rock paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rock gets a takedown into half guard. Flayre tries to roll over but Rock keeps him under control. Rock works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flayre suckers Rock into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Flayre is now in Rock's guard!
Rock is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Flayre showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rock lands a decent shot there. Rock wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Flayre manages to pass to side control. Flayre content to control rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rock wants to improve his position but Flayre is controlling well.

Rock trying to get back to full guard but Flayre takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Rock takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Flayre controlling the position easily from mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rock tries to control Flayre's body but Flayre pushes him off. Rock squirms to his side and now Flayre has his back!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Robbie Rock. I've got Rock winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
