Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Bob has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thiago Souza!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob swinging wildly here.
Bob gets the takedown into side control.
Souza can't do much from the bottom here.
Bob wants to control but Souza is keeping him busy.
Bob works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
A control attempt from Souza but he's now mounted!
Bob prevents Souza from getting the reversal.
Souza is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Souza bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Souza won't allow Bob to sweep him here.

Bob seems keen to control Souza's posture.
Bob has a closed guard, preventing Souza from standing up.

Bob wants to sweep here but Souza controlling him for the moment.
Souza wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving.
Bob is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bob knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Souza on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Good shot there by Bob.
Bob tries to close the distance and clinch up but Souza swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Souza clinches up against the cage.
Bob wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Souza has him pressed against the cage.
Souza breaks the clinch.
Bob scores with a one two! Souza had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Souza jumps guard and drags Bob to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Bob stands and steps away. Souza gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Bob is breathing heavily.
Souza drives through and clinches with Bob against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Souza breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Souza darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bob on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bob tries to get out of the position.
Souza is trying to control. Bob wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Souza connects with a nice short shot to Bob's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Souza is looking for a kimura but Bob is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Souza to get the leverage.

Bob is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Souza is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Souza thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Souza wants to control but Bob is keeping him busy.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A jab from Bob misses.
Souza fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bob tries to bum rush Souza with a series of wild strikes but Souza uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Joe Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Souza doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bob counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Souza is not content to let Bob control the position.
Souza has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bob is working away from the top position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Bob dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Souza has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Bob!
Bob is looking to get to half guard.
Souza scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Bob?
Souza controlling his opponent.
Souza trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Bob tries to control Souza's body but Souza pushes him off. Bob squirms to his side and now Souza has his back!
Thiago Souza has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bob prevents Souza from getting a body triangle.
Souza working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Bob is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Souza has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Bob taps out!
