Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keith Schafer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strife has chosen Highway to Hell - AC/DC as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strife shoots in looking for a takedown. Schafer tries to sprawl out of it but Strife keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Schafer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Schafer moves into range and clinches up with Strife.
Schafer wants to break free but Strife has control.
Schafer working hard to break the clinch.

Schafer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Strife tries to pull guard but Schafer holds him up against the cage and eventually Strife drops back down to his feet.

and Schafer counters with a three punch combo that has Strife backing up. Strife nods at Schafer to acknowledge the strikes.
Jay Strife seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Schafer throws a right and a left that Strife avoids nicely.

Strife drives through with a takedown into guard.

Strife is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Schafer is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Schafer has escaped and now he's on top!
Strife looks gassed!

Strife is working an open guard so Schafer takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Schafer throws a combination. Strife tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Schafer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Strife gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Schafer counters with a nice uppercut.
