Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mcleod checks a leg kick. Sotiar throws a sloppy head kick and Mcleod moves out of range easily. Mcleod scores with a hook to the body. Sotiar takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Mcleod feints and as Sotiar raises his hands in defense, Mcleod changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sotiar tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sotiar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mcleod's guard. Sotiar slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sotiar thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Sotiar goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mcleod rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Sotiar's guard! Nice work there by Mcleod!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcleod trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sotiar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mcleod manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sotiar controls from within his opponent's guard. Sotiar looking to pass the guard. Sotiar postures up in Mcleod's guard and throws a big left but Mcleod blocks it. Sotiar trying to control but Mcleod is working from the bottom. Sotiar looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sotiar looking to sit in guard and control but Mcleod gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sotiar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mcleod postures up.
Mcleod must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mcleod walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Mcleod checks the leg kick. A looping hook to the body misses from Sotiar. Mcleod does a little dance to reset his feet. Mcleod misses with a looping right. Sotiar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mcleod closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sotiar did well to prevent Mcleod getting side control. Sotiar is looking to control Mcleod's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sotiar avoid being mounted? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dante Mcleod will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sotiar tries to hold on but Mcleod pushes him away. Sotiar keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Mcleod throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Sotiar is wriggling around trying to escape.
Mcleod throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sotiar because Mcleod loaded up on that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sotiar tries to hold on but Mcleod pushes him away. Sotiar is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Sotiar is trying to escape the mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sotiar gets back to half guard. Sotiar keeping control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sotiar tries to get to full guard but Mcleod has control of the leg. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sotiar is looking to control Mcleod's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sotiar avoid being mounted? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dante Mcleod showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Mcleod lands a right hook to the body.
Sotiar misses with a straight right. Mcleod throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sotiar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Mcleod steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sotiar. Mcleod moves out of range of the leg kick from Sotiar. Mcleod scores with a nice strike. Sotiar misses the jab. Mcleod blocks a head kick by Sotiar.
Sotiar throws a solid leg kick but Mcleod takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sotiar. Dante Mcleod is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mcleod showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sotiar.
Mcleod misses with a series of wild punches.
Sotiar connects with a nice looking jab.
Mcleod lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcleod uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sotiar.
Good exchange - Mcleod coming out on top. Mcleod throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Sotiar fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mcleod is out of range. A punch combination from Mcleod misses. Mcleod closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sotiar to the mat! Sotiar manages to get full guard. Sotiar doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Nice work there by Mcleod! Sotiar is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Mcleod's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Sotiar wants to control but Mcleod is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sotiar actively working from the bottom here. Sotiar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sotiar. Sotiar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mcleod is aware though and is defending well. Sotiar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mcleod defends well. Mcleod pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sotiar is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sotiar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sotiar wants to control the position but Mcleod says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Sotiar is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mcleod pulls his head out easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Dante Mcleod comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mcleod has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
