Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshihirou Kamahata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, BJ Benn!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Decent striking displayed by Benn there.
Benn lunges at Kamahata with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kamahata's hand.
Benn lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kamahata looks for a takedown but Benn sprawls well.
Benn misses with a few strikes there.
Kamahata fails with the takedown.
Benn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Benn swinging wildly here.
Kamahata fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoshihirou Kamahata. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Benn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kamahata fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Benn throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Benn scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kamahata slips a jab and a cross from Benn.
Kamahata fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
The fighters circle momentarily. Benn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Kamahata feints and as Benn raises his hands in defense, Kamahata changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Benn keeping moving, preventing Kamahata from controlling successfully.
Benn looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Kamahata postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Benn is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kamahata, into his guard.
Benn is looking to stand up but Kamahata won't let him.

Kamahata had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Benn defends it easily.

Kamahata is looking to sinch up a triangle. Benn throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kamahata's body to avoid the submission. Kamahata has instead reached around Benn's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kamahata arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Yoshihirou Kamahata!
