Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rex Leon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Dimaya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryan Dimaya has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rex Leon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bryan Dimaya!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dimaya circles away quickly and effectively.

Dimaya shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Leon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Dimaya is looking to work some ground and pound but Leon has wrist control.
Leon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Dimaya is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Leon has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Leon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dimaya has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Leon escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Leon!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Leon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dimaya to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Leon controls Dimaya momentarily but Dimaya frees himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Leon stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Dimaya looking to hit a scissor sweep but Leon is one step ahead there.

Dimaya isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Leon stacks Dimaya on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Leon!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dimaya can't do much from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bryan Dimaya showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Dimaya must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Leon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Dimaya counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Leon lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dimaya!
Leon wants to stand but Dimaya is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Dimaya can't escape the position.
Dimaya is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Rex Leon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dimaya wants to hold on but Leon pushes him away.

Leon is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Leon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Dimaya counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Leon wants to sweep here but Dimaya controlling him for the moment.
Dimaya is working Leon over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Leon is on top in guard.
Dimaya is trying to keep Leon in close.

Dimaya has his foot on Leon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Leon works his way back into a safe position though.
Dimaya takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bryan Dimaya comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Dimaya winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
