Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between raquan kite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KO Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! raquan kite could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to KO Kane's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, raquan kite! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, KO Kane! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane shoots in for a takedown but kite shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kane looks gassed! kite gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kane counters with a nice double leg into guard. kite managing to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. kite striking off his back but it's not causing Kane any problems. kite throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Kane got a little sloppy there for a moment and kite has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kane has managed to get both his arms back between kite's legs - danger averted. Kane stops kite from standing up. kite working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kane doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kane manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. kite looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. kite fails with the takedown and Kane counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for kite! Kane punching from mount but kite doing a good job of avoiding damage. kite keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
kite on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if kite tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. kite is trying to stand up. Kane thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Kane throwing strikes here but kite is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
kite is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kane misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
kite blocking the ground and pound. Kane breaks from kite's wrist control and lands an elbow. kite is trying to escape the mount.
Kane throwing strikes but kite uses the opportunity to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. kite works his way to full guard. Good work. kite is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kane defends well. Kane throws and elbow that misses. kite uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kane's guard. Nice move by kite!
That's three minutes gone in the round. kite trying to control but Kane is working from the bottom. kite has gone for a leg lock! Kane slips out almost immediately though and dives into kite's guard. kite pushes Kane off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kane scores a takedown into full mount! Kane lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. kite tries to hold on but Kane pushes him away. kite holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kane tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kane thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Kane looking to finish kite with some ground and pound. This is bad for kite! Kane throwing strikes but kite recovers to half guard. A much better position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
KO Kane dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
kite tries to close the distance and clinch but Kane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. kite shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kane is trying to defend but kite finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. kite not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. kite will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. kite stalling. Kane is breathing heavily. kite throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kane blocking the ground and pound attempt from kite. kite trying to control from half guard but Kane is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. kite throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. kite tries to pass to full mount but Kane defends it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. kite looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kane! Kane is desperately trying to improve his position but kite has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane stops kite from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. kite controlling the position easily from mount. kite trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kane holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as kite tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. kite controlling his opponent. Kane is squirming around, avoiding kite's attempts to control the action. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! kite jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kane manages to avoid the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
raquan kite dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Kane circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kane shoots in but kite avoids the takedown attempt easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. kite with a lazy takedown attempt and Kane decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in kite's guard. Kane takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. kite bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kane's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. kite trying to control but Kane is working from the bottom. kite loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. kite would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. kite wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. kite misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Kane. No joy for kite on that attempt. Kane shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in kite's guard. Kane throws a strike but kite rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. kite prevents Kane from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane being controlled here, momentarily. kite wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! KO Kane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kane has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
