Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Volkoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marshall comes into the arena with Graduation Bitches blaring out of the sound system. Vladimir Volkoff will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marco Marshall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vladimir Volkoff!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Volkoff was covering up waiting for the punch and Marshall finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Volkoff pulls Marshall in close to his closed guard and prevents Marshall from doing any damage or advancing position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Marshall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Volkoff looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Volkoff avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Marshall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Volkoff wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Volkoff lands with a kick to the temple. Marshall shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Marco Marshall has been cut.
Marshall takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Volkoff throws a head kick but Marshall moves out of range.
Volkoff misses with an uppercut. Marshall saw that one coming.
Volkoff misses with a hook. Marshall ducked under it nicely.

Volkoff looks to land a right hand but Marshall moved out of range.
Volkoff throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Marshall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Volkoff sprawls well. Volkoff wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marshall gets slowly back to his feet.

Volkoff throws a head kick but Marshall moves out of range.
Marshall fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Volkoff looks to land a combination but Marshall avoids it well.
Vladimir Volkoff is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Volkoff throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marshall.
Marshall shoots in looking for a takedown. Volkoff tries to sprawl out of it but Marshall keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Volkoff manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marco Marshall. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Marshall throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Volkoff's waist but Volkoff gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marshall off to one side.
Marshall shoots in and drives through. Volkoff sprawls well.

Horrible takedown by Marshall or perhaps it was just good defense by Volkoff which made him look bad.

Volkoff throws a quick head kick that knocks Marshall silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Volkoff is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
