PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Barac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwight Schrute (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Barac might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Connected. Schrute is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Thunderstruck by AC DC. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schrute swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Schrute walks into a straight right hand from Barac.

It looks like Dwight Schrute has been cut.
Schrute misses with a jab, cross combination.
Schrute thows a left - swing and a miss!
Barac throws a looping overhand right but Schrute ducks down to avoid it.
Barac throws a lazy right hand but Schrute sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Schrute throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Ivan Barac has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Schrute looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Schrute keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Barac.
Barac misses with an uppercut.
Barac steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Schrute.
Barac stuns Schrute with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Barac lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Schrute backs up against the cage.
Barac lands the left hand.
Schrute misses with a combination
and Barac counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Schrute looks gassed!
Schrute takes one on the button.
Barac throws out a powerful jab.

Schrute is rocked!

That has opened up Dwight Schrute's cut even more.
Schrute avoids the body shot from Barac.

Barac sends Schrute crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Barac is motioning to the referee to let Schrute up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Schrute is still on wobbly legs! Can Barac finish him?
Barac swings for the body but Schrute moves out of range.
Barac drops Schrute with a naaaaasty hook - Schrute is in real trouble here! Barac dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
