Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Sputnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Macadam Baird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Macadam Baird!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baird shoots in for a double leg but Sputnik sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A cross from Sputnik lands.
Sputnik lands a left and a right that send Baird crashing to the mat, dazed. Sputnik thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Baird is rocked!
It looks like Macadam Baird has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Baird shoots in looking for a takedown. Sputnik tries to sprawl out of it but Baird keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sputnik manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Baird is still on wobbly legs! Can Sputnik finish him?
Baird tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sputnik swivels and escapes.
Vladimir Sputnik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Macadam Baird.
Sputnik throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Baird seems to have recovered his senses.

Baird falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sputnik counters with a crisp right hand that drops Baird! Sputnik lets Baird back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Sputnik fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Baird square on the jaw! Damn, Baird is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
