Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
jr postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Spencer looks a forlorn figure.

jr is looking to work his way around to Spencer's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

jr is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Spencer has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Spencer!

Spencer is taking a breather. jr says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Spencer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so jr is just riding it out for now. Spencer eventually gives up the hold.

Spencer is looking to work some ground and pound but jr has wrist control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
jr tries to close the distance and clinch but Spencer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looks like lobei jr has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from jr is defended easily by Spencer.
Spencer shoots for a double leg takedown but jr sprawls well. He's pushed Spencer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Spencer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Spencer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in jr's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that lobei jr will probably get the nod.

That's time! jr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nice takedown defense from jr. No joy for Spencer on that attempt.

jr is stalling here. Spencer is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! jr seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Spencer has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

jr parries the strikes from Spencer easily there. Spencer is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable jr to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
jr stalling away here and it's allowed Spencer to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
jr has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Spencer wants to sweep here but jr controlling him for the moment.
Spencer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in jr's guard.
jr wants to stand and escape but Spencer is having none of it.

Spencer dives in and grabs jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. jr pushes down on Spencer's head and hops out.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to lobei jr.
