Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alpa Chino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Methot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chino comes to the cage accompanied by Talkin' to Myself. Alpa Chino has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alpa Chino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Methot tries to clinch there but Chino circles away.
Methot lands with a thumping leg kick.
Methot dives in and grabs Chino's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chino pushes down on Methot's head and hops out.
Some wild striking there from Chino.
Chino stuns Methot with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Chino dodges the punch combination from Methot.
Methot falls off balance throwing a combination
and Chino counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Methot thinking.
Chino lands a slapping body shot.
Chino fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chino looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Chino lands with a good body shot.
Methot digs a good body shot into Chino's ribs.
Methot tries to clinch
and Chino counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Methot looks gassed!
Nice uppercut lands for Chino. That snapped Methot's head back.

It looks like Patrick Methot has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chino stuns Methot with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Chino scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Methot doesn't seem bothered though.
Chino lands a two punch combo.

Methot is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chino lands a nice hook to Methot's body. Methot takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Chino throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Methot stumbling backwards into the cage! Methot bounces back off the cage towards Chino, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Chino lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Chino celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
