Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Dosset! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Azubuike Bongani! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dosset clinches up with Bongani and pushes him back against the cage. Bongani just leaning against Dosset, taking a breather. Bongani wants to break free but Dosset has control.
Bongani's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bongani shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dosset sprawls well. Dosset wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bongani gets slowly back to his feet. Bongani looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bongani feints and as Dosset raises his hands in defense, Bongani changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Dosset is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dosset trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Dosset knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bongani on the ground. Dosset trying to keep a closed guard but Bongani is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bongani throws a big right hand that misses. Dosset looking to control.
Bongani stops Dosset from standing up. Dosset looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bongani passes into side control.
Dosset is trying to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dosset lands with a nice combination. Bongani backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Azubuike Bongani has been cut. Dosset will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dosset tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bongani swivels and escapes. The fight moves into the clinch position. Dosset tries to pull guard but Bongani won't allow it.

Bongani trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Bongani keeping moving, preventing Dosset from controlling successfully. Dosset is breathing heavily. Dosset trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bongani's guard. Bongani wants to sweep but no luck. Bongani throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bongani wants to stand but Dosset is controlling the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dosset tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bongani swivels and escapes. Bongani doesn't manage to clinch there - Dosset circles away.
Bongani tries a head kick but it misses.
Dosset fails with the takedown and Bongani counters by clinching up. Bongani taking a breather. Bongani gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dosset.
Bongani breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bongani shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dosset manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dosset not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bongani wants to control from the top but Dosset keeps moving. Bongani is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Bongani works a leg free and moves into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Azubuike Bongani dominated that round. The cut man is working on Azubuike Bongani's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dosset throws a sloppy head kick and Bongani counters by clinching up. Dosset gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bongani.
Bongani is pressed up against the cage. Dosset has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bongani down to the mat. Bongani avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Bongani forces Dosset back against the cage and clinches. Bongani tries to pull guard but Dosset holds him up against the cage and eventually Bongani drops back down to his feet.
Bongani keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dosset's efforts to push away. Bongani tries to pull guard but Dosset won't allow it.
Danny Dosset has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Azubuike Bongani. Dosset jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bongani walks away with a smile on his face. Dosset gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bongani misses with a takedown attempt - Dosset sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bongani lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Danny Dosset has been cut. Bongani scores with a takedown into Dosset's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dosset is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dosset keeping moving, preventing Bongani from controlling successfully. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Bongani. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Bongani pushes down on Dosset's leg and manages to get into half guard. Bongani stands up and beckons Dosset to join him on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dosset drives through and clinches with Bongani against the cage.
Dosset jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bongani walks away with a smile on his face. Dosset gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dosset tries to clinch but Bongani is having none of it. Dosset scores with a three punch combo!
Bongani scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bongani is figuring out what he wants to do next. Bongani is looking to take a break and control but Dosset is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bongani is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Dosset is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
