Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Higashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Money Pacman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Joe Higashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Higashi lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Pacman closes the distance and clinches up with Higashi, looking for a takedown. Pacman pushes Higashi against the cage but Higashi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A left and a right from Higashi both land. Nice combination.

The fight stays on the outside here - Higashi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pacman is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Higashi will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Higashi is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
The referee asks Pacman politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Pacman prefers to stall for the moment though.

Higashi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pacman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Higashi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Let's hope that Pacman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
