Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Carrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy The Iron Hand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carrey's entrance music is When the man comes around - Johnny Cash. A fine choice. Billy The Iron Hand has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Carrey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy The Iron Hand! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Iron Hand closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - The Iron Hand lands in his opponent's guard. The Iron Hand passes Carrey's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The Iron Hand throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The Iron Hand takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The Iron Hand working Carrey over with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Iron Hand looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The Iron Hand not landing any meaningful shots this time. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Carrey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The Iron Hand is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Carrey defends it well. The Iron Hand is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Carrey is breathing heavily. Carrey is in trouble now - The Iron Hand has advanced to mount! The Iron Hand is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Carrey is surviving well by controlling The Iron Hand's body position as best he can. Carrey is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Iron Hand goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Carrey turns into him and now he's in The Iron Hand's guard.

Carrey tries for a takedown but The Iron Hand circles away easily and The Iron Hand counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Carrey's guard now. The Iron Hand is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The Iron Hand trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The Iron Hand passes easily into side control. Nice work. Carrey manages to get back to half guard. The Iron Hand is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The Iron Hand is looking for a kimura but Carrey is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for The Iron Hand to get the leverage. The fighters are battling for position here. Carrey manages to regain full guard. Nice work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! The Iron Hand would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Carrey looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Carrey fails with the takedown and The Iron Hand makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Carrey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before The Iron Hand can pounce on him.

The Iron Hand fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carrey sprawls well initially but The Iron Hand persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The Iron Hand is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Carrey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in The Iron Hand's guard. The Iron Hand throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Carrey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Iron Hand swivels though and keeps the full guard. The Iron Hand wants to sweep but no luck. Carrey wants to control from the top but The Iron Hand keeps moving. Carrey won't allow The Iron Hand to sweep him here. The Iron Hand is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The Iron Hand escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Carrey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The Iron Hand pushes Carrey off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Carrey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and The Iron Hand counters with a right hand to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Carrey. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Iron Hand looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Carrey! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy The Iron Hand dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
