Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jung Sung Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kim might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Crash by Fit for Rivals. Jason Morgan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jung Sung Kim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jason Morgan! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Kim misses. Morgan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kim pinned against the cage. Kim gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kim misses with a body shot.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Morgan swings away with a leg kick that misses. Kim stuffs the takedown attempt from Morgan. Morgan gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kim will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kim decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kim trying to advance position but Morgan counters by regaining guard. Kim trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morgan trying to control the position.
Morgan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kim controls the pace. Morgan keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kim in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kim ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Morgan moves away. Kim looks to throw the jab but Morgan is out of range. Morgan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kim counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kim. Jung Sung Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Morgan. Morgan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kim walks away with a smile on his face. Morgan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Morgan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Morgan tries to keep at a distance but Kim has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Kim gets underhooks to prevent Morgan's takedown attempt.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Morgan doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kim displaying some good clinch control by pressing Morgan up against the cage. A right hook to the body lands for Kim.
Morgan is trying to drag Kim to the mat but Kim just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kim stalling the fight.
Morgan is trying to break the clinch but Kim is controlling him. Morgan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Morgan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kim avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Morgan tries to pull guard but Kim holds him up against the cage and eventually Morgan drops back down to his feet.
Morgan tries for a takedown. No joy.
Kim gets a trip takedown into half guard. Kim is figuring out what he wants to do next. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kim passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Morgan! Morgan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jung Sung Kim dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kim lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morgan circles away quickly and effectively. Morgan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kim counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Morgan's guard now. Kim looking to sit in guard and control but Morgan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kim is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kim's guard. Kim might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kim keeping moving, preventing Morgan from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Morgan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Morgan preventing the sweep. Morgan wants to control from the top but Kim keeps moving. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kim manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kim looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kim trying to control but Morgan is having none of it. Morgan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Morgan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kim kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Morgan wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Kim.
Kim controlling his opponent. Kim avoids the attempt from Morgan to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kim takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jung Sung Kim dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Morgan misses with a takedown attempt and Kim counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jason Morgan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Morgan tries a head kick but it misses.
Kim gets the takedown into side control. Kim misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The ground and pound from Kim seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Morgan defending against the ground and pound. Kim thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kim misses with the ground and pound. Morgan is trying to buck Kim off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim working away. Morgan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kim wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kim swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Morgan with a poor takedown and Kim counters with a straight right hand. A slow jab from Kim misses its intended target. Morgan misses with a takedown attempt and Kim counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kim. Jung Sung Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Kim has clasped his hands together around Morgan's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Morgan manages to get back to half guard. Morgan trying to control from the bottom.
Kim is looking to take a break and control but Morgan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kim is really struggling to control Morgan but he's trying to hold on to the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Morgan trying to hold on to Kim's head to control him but Kim postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Kim wants to take a breather but Morgan is having none of it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Morgan tries for a takedown but Kim circles away easily enabling Kim to counter with a crisp jab. Jung Sung Kim is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Morgan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kim.
Kim tries to clinch but Morgan moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Morgan swinging wildly here.
Morgan with a lazy takedown attempt and Kim counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kim throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Morgan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morgan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kim's shoulder. That is not cool.
And that's the end of the fight! Jung Sung Kim showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kim has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
