Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chirstopher Charles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Dundee!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dundee shoots in but Charles avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dundee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Charles tries to avoid it but Dundee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Charles to the ground. Charles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dundee shoots for a double leg takedown but Charles sprawls well. He's pushed Dundee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Chirstopher Charles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Dundee.
Charles shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Charles scores with a one two! Dundee had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Charles scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Charles cracks Dundee with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.


The cut above Paul Dundee's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Charles jabs Dundee right on the nose. Dundee blinks but takes it well.
Dundee looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Paul Dundee's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Charles throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Dundee shoots in for a double leg but Charles sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Charles punishes Dundee's body with a nice straight punch.
Charles lands with an uppercut that bounces Dundee off the cage and back into rage.
Dundee shoots in for a takedown but Charles shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dundee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Dundee drops his hands momentarily and Charles takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

BOOM! Dundee connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Charles slaps away a takedown attempt from Dundee, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Charles bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dundee's head.
Dundee has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Charles finds it's way round the side to connect with Dundee's head.
Charles scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Charles digs a good hook to Dundee's body.
Charles uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Dundee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Charles swivels and escapes.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Charles lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dundee has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dundee and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Charles, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
