Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikola Zrinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Johnson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to i get money. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Micheal Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikola Zrinski! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zrinski tries to clinch but Johnson is having none of it. Both fighters circling a little - Zrinski finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Johnson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zrinski circles away. Zrinski fails with an attempt to clinch.
Johnson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Zrinski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Johnson. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micheal Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson keeps the fight on the outside. Zrinski throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily. Zrinski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Johnson is holding on to half guard well. Johnson kicks Zrinski off and gets back to his feet. Johnson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson tries to move to full mount but Zrinski actually manages to regain half guard.

Johnson is looking to advance position but Zrinski won't allow it. Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zrinski keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Johnson escapes and gets back to his feet. Zrinski lands a head kick!
Johnson with a lazy takedown attempt and Zrinski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Zrinski from controlling successfully. Johnson is trying to control the position but Zrinski postures up. Zrinski wants to get up but he can't break Johnson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Zrinski decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Johnson is breathing heavily. A decent looking body kick lands there for Zrinski.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zrinski throws a hook but Johnson blocks it. Zrinski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Johnson throws a wild body kick that Zrinski sees coming a mile off. Zrinski throws a head kick that Johnson semi-blocks.
A head kick misses from Zrinski. Zrinski shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well. Zrinski fakes the leg kick and cracks Johnson in the body. Zrinski doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson postures up.
Johnson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Johnson stands up from Zrinski's guard - Johnson perhaps looking for a knockout. Johnson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Zrinski is trying to defend but Johnson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nikola Zrinski will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Zrinski doesn't succeed with the takedown and Johnson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Micheal Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johnson content to stall in guard here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Johnson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Johnson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Zrinski is breathing heavily.

Nikola Zrinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt. Zrinski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johnson swivels and escapes. Micheal Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikola Zrinski. Zrinski has his takedown stuffed and Johnson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Zrinski! Zrinski has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson has good solid back control here. Zrinski has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Johnson is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Zrinski is tapping out! This one is all over!
