Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo R Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). R Santos has chosen Triunfo - EMICIDA as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gustavo R Santos was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roy Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gustavo R Santos! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! R Santos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones really is a fat lump. R Santos tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jones counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Jones lands with a thumping leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for R Santos on that attempt. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from R Santos.
R Santos drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.

Jones slips a nice elbow through R Santos's hands, connecting with R Santos's forehead. R Santos is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back! Jones looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. R Santos controls the action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A head kick by R Santos misses and Jones counters with a series of strikes. R Santos will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. R Santos throws a combination that misses letting Jones counter with a right hand. Jones tries to clinch up and R Santos counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jones won't be happy with that. Jones tries to bench press R Santos off him but R Santos keeps the position. R Santos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No luck for R Santos with that takedown attempt. R Santos takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. R Santos looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. R Santos has his takedown stuffed and Jones counters with a nice uppercut. Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jones is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from R Santos. R Santos manages to break the clinch.

Jones takes the fight into the clinch. Jones has had enough of the clinch but R Santos keeps him there for the moment. R Santos taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
