The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lekova closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lekova is looking for a kimura but Vogelov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lekova to get the leverage.
Vogelov won't allow Lekova to pass to mount.
Vogelov is defending against the submission attempts here by Lekova.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Lekova is working for a kimura here but Vogelov manages to reverse the position and he's now in Lekova's guard.
Vogelov drops back looking for a leg! Lekova is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lekova manages to kick Vogelov off! Vogelov jumps back into Lekova's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Lekova moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Lekova misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Igor Vogelov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lekova dives in and grabs Vogelov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vogelov pushes down on Lekova's head and hops out.
