Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dingle Berry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeb Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berry tries to clinch but Rush is having none of it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Rush goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Berry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rush pinned against the cage. Rush gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Rush darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Rush looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Berry with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rush thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Berry wants to control but Rush is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rush is taking a breather. Berry says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Berry is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rush 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rush 's back!

Rush is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Berry has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Berry is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Berry gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Berry gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Berry apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Berry has control of Rush 's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rush regains control of the situation pretty easily.
