2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George St Pierre! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Pierre drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. St Pierre drops back looking for a leg! Strichi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Strichi manages to kick St Pierre off! St Pierre jumps back into Strichi's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. St Pierre drops back, looking for a kneebar! Strichi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Strichi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Strichi! St Pierre holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. St Pierre is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Strichi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for St Pierre on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Pierre regains half guard there - taking advantage of Strichi's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. St Pierre dives in and grabs Strichi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Strichi pushes down on St Pierre's head and hops out. Strichi looks to land a combination but St Pierre avoids it well. St Pierre looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. St Pierre shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hiroishi Strichi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George St Pierre. Strichi tries to bum rush St Pierre with a series of wild strikes but St Pierre uses good footwork to avoid the assault. St Pierre dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Strichi. That did some damage! St Pierre thuds his right hand into Strichi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like George St Pierre has been cut. St Pierre shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. St Pierre stands up from guard. Let's bang! Strichi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. St Pierre shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Strichi sprawls well. Strichi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. St Pierre gets slowly back to his feet. Strichi did well to prevent St Pierre getting side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. St Pierre trying to pass the guard but Strichi defending well. Strichi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but St Pierre moves away. St Pierre closes the distance and clinches up with Strichi, looking for a takedown. St Pierre pushes Strichi against the cage but Strichi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. St Pierre scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. St Pierre is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Strichi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. St Pierre wants to stand but Strichi is controlling his arm. St Pierre is breathing heavily. Strichi is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on St Pierre's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. St Pierre looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

St Pierre is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Strichi has managed to free his arm - good work. St Pierre wants to pass to mount but Strichi is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. St Pierre wants to get back to his feet.
St Pierre is looking for a kimura but Strichi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for St Pierre to get the leverage. St Pierre throwing shots but Strichi is blocking nicely.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. St Pierre throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Strichi.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Pierre is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Strichi's half guard. St Pierre throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. St Pierre wants to control but Strichi is keeping him busy. St Pierre throwing shots but Strichi is blocking nicely. St Pierre trying to pass the guard but Strichi defending well. St Pierre is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

St Pierre postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Strichi is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of St Pierre, into his guard. St Pierre not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

George St Pierre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on George St Pierre's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Strichi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from St Pierre. St Pierre fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Strichi sprawls well initially but St Pierre persists and gets the takedown into half guard. St Pierre passes to full mount! St Pierre punching from mount but Strichi doing a good job of avoiding damage. St Pierre thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

That's one minute gone in the round. Strichi taking shots to the head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Strichi is squirming around, avoiding St Pierre's attempts to control the action. St Pierre goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Strichi is on top in guard.
St Pierre wants to sweep here but Strichi controlling him for the moment. George St Pierre has got the better of the ground game so far.

Strichi rolls with it to try and escape but St Pierre cranks on the arm and Strichi is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
